What It Means To You


The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Leadership Alumni and Leadership Board of Trustees have organized a forum about the proposed Cap and Trade tax. A panel has been assembled to discuss the legislation and the impact it would have. Serving on the panel is: Jim Loving, CEO of National Cooperative Refinery, Tim Maier, General Manager for the Board of Public Utilities, City of McPherson Mayor Tom Brown and Rod Gieselman, McPherson College.

The forum is scheduled for Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Mingenback College on McPherson College Campus. Reservations are required and there is a fee for the lunch. To reserve call the McPherson Chamber of Commerce at 241-3303 by Friday, January 22nd.
