The McPherson County Small Business Development Association is a non-profit organization that was created in 1981 for the purpose of helping McPherson County in the area of economic development. Members of SBDA represent various segments of business in McPherson County including finance, manufacturing, retail and goverment.
SBDA prepares and packages several types of loans for businesses and serves as a clearinghouse of economic development information in McPherson County. SBDA has been able to assist in the growth and expansion of small business in McPherson County through performance grants that were funded through the Kansas Department of Commerce & Housing.
SBDA is a member of the Kansas Association of Certified Development Companies (KACDC). SBDA has an existing affiliation with South Central Kansas Economic Development District (SCKEDD).
