The Convention & Visitors Bureau is a not-for-profit umbrella organization which represents the city of McPherson in the solicitation and serving of all types of visitors to the area... whether they are attending a convention, touring or visiting. The goal is to promote economic growth and build visitor traffic to the McPherson area.

McPherson has two convention facilities that can each hold up to 500 people. There are also several restaurants and two colleges that have meeting and banquet facilities.

Marketing Grants
The McPherson Convention and Visitors Bureau has marketing grants available for non-profit organizations interested in marketing an event or attraction. Each organization is required to match the grant money received. The money can only be used to market events and attractions through brochures, posters, newspaper ads, radio spots, television commercials or mail outs. Grants are awarded twice a year in March and July.
